The neat aspect is they all have Military Provenance. The first is USN Vietnam, the next five are Royal Canadian Navy and the Rolex is a British Army/ SAS marked version.
Cheers,

I am dying to get a nice vintage tudor snowflake blue with a nice soft patina. I would love to find one from 1985 (my birth year.) But at the moment I really need a decent dress watch! So unless the perfect tudor shows up it will have to wait. Keep these photos coming though as I am truly enjoying all the eye candy!

I think that Tudor stopped producing Snowflakes Submariner in 1981. Of the year 1985 you can buy the ref. 76100 with Mercedes hands.

I think it was more like 1983 that Snowflakes stopped being made (see the following for a brief overview:

Hi,
Curious to know if blue is rarer than black snowflake? Seems like blue is commanding a higher premium but i maybe wrong.

Cheers,
Kai

Original blue dials are very rate because they had a lot of problems with the blue paint and it blistered and flaked off. The 9411 is more popular in blue because they got the paint sorted out by then. Most early ones are factory re-dials.

Black is nice too because there are fewer than 5513 subs for example. Rare in black, more rare in blue, most rare early original dial blue.
