Well, since Fred is the "offical" one that does the countdowns, I'll leave it for him.

BUT, since I have the same phone as Fred, and the same "countdown" app as him as well, I'll just post it up !! :)

We now have . . . . . . just 41 days left as of today !!!!!

Can't wait !!! As for Fred, he must be SUPER busy. I left him a voicemail last week, and he has yet to get back to me, so I figured he's running around like crazy at work.

I'm lucky to get out of a scheduled work party, that Saturday.
It's a work party I scheduled, or at least agreed to changing the date of.
(It was late last night when my fellow deacon called to change to it from the non-conflicting date I originally picked. )

I told him this morning that I'd be a no-show on THAT date!

These are tentative arrangements and can be varied, save for Henne's.

Thursday evening...Vincent's Pizza (For those arriving Thursday)
Friday........Breakfast at any of 8+ choices with in 1 mile of the Hampton Inn.
................Local Lunch?
................Dinner at D'Imperio's (Local Monroeville area)
Saturday....Breakfast at any of 8+ local venues
................Henne's Jeweler's in Shadyside, per Chad and Henne's.
................Dinner atop Mount Washington (For you tourists' sakes)

We NEED YOUR input as to what YUNZ want to do, except for Saturday's event.

I'm in, booked a room a couple hours ago. I should be in town by 5:00 Thursday evening.

Hmmm, what to do ...

I thought I'd be on my own Fri. during the day, I may go to the zoo.

Looks good Craig. I will be free all day Friday (because I don't want Doug to be all alone.) Depending on how many are around, I might haul a couple of youse into the city to meet my buddy Yuriy, who moves a lot of pre-owned Rolies.

We better decide on how fancy Saturday night's dinner should be. LeMont would be my first choice, I think, but we're talking 5-stars now.

Woohoo, Doug!

Mike and Mrs. B ought to be in on Thurday, as well.

Vincent's Pizza on Thursday, everyone?

Lord willing, there will be no snow.

I was just on the phone with Fred a few days ago. He is definitely coming down (well, for him it would be across lol) for the trip !!

Stan as of now, will not be attending.

But yes, Fred and myself will both be there !!! The trip is about equal driving distance for the both of us (about 8 or so hours) so depending on what time we leave ( we plan on leaving around 7-8AM or so on Thursday morning, so we'll be arriving at the hotel around 5PM or so ).

Oh, and we now have 33 more days to go !!

The parking enforcement people usually make their first pass in Shadyside around 11 am. They have been ticketing a lot recently. I have never had a problem finding a parking spot in the garage so it should not be too difficult. I usually walk up to Henne as I live about 4 blocks away.

I do not want to impose on Craig's effort with setting up the group rate at the Hampton, but I wanted to point out something.

If you are coming into town on Thursday, then his $109 rate is great.

However, if you are only staying on Friday or Saturday night (or both, but definitely not Thursday), you can use this Corporate Account Number to get the king room for $95 / night on Friday and Saturday night.

Corporate Account Number: 0560041604

There is also a new Marriott Springhill Suite about a mile from Henne in Shadyside. A Marriott Courtyard is about 1/2 mile away. If you have questions on Shadyside or Walnut Street let me know - I have lived there since 2007.

You're the best!

EDIT: BTW, if you're a loxmyth, stay away from The Hartwell Building, The Apple Store and Pamela's, amongst a few buildings, because they're mine!
(Really, they are my customers' businesses. )

Heh, no worries, not a loxmyth. I am surprised Apple even has locks. Recently was the 3rd time someone threw a brick thru the window to break in.

Yes, and someone ran a SUV into Henne's, a while back. The dopes!
Of course, all the high end stuff was in the safes.
