Bought myself a humidor today and a couple of boxes of cigars to go with it.

First up is the Partagas Serie P Number 2's.

Lovely easy draw and wonderful flavour without being overpowering. I preferred it to the Montecristo 2's I tried recently.

Hope you enjoyed your Partagas. Wish we had them here in the states. Maybe one day.

Just had dinner with the family down by the beach and here was the beautiful sunset.

Back home now after a terrific dinner and felt like smoking the one and only OpusX. Life is good!

And of course we need a wrist shot of the new Pepsi.

You have to try the Montecristo Series A if you can find them. Trust me.....

If you liked the Acid blondie, you have to try their Kuba Kuba! Awesome after dinner smoke.

Question for the experts....

I seasoned my new humidor and it was nicely keeping 70% humidity.

I've now filled it to the brim with 10 double coronas and 25 large figurado cigars which had sat for a couple of days in their original box but not in humidity controlled conditions.

How long do you expect it to take for the humidor to re-stabilise at 70%?

I appreciate that I've almost definitely overfilled it as you could probably not fit another cigar in and be able to close the box whilst leaving room for the humidifier and hygrometer on the lid...

I'm keen to avoid damaging $450 worth of new stock and worry that I've made a grave error.

If you have access to more moisture beads/plant oasis, you can put some cigars in an interim humidor using tupperware. It'll work in a pinch and should maintain your cigars at the proper humidity for as long as you need.

This afternoon I enjoyed a Fuente 8-5-8 Natural, timed by a Seiko bullhead while sipping Woodford on the rocks.
