taking into account that if i buy pre-owned, i would like to ship it to the boutique for a full service and polish/overhaul right away, so gotta factor in that cost as well

Option 2, although have you considered this? Platinum. Beautiful black dial. Sub seconds dial. Classic 1815 numeral hour markers and minute track. And price wise, it’s probably around the pieces you listed.

I think it's nice. I'm also into dressing down my Saxonia Thin Copper Blue. Blue suede is the current choice.

Thanks guys! Great feedback. I’m trying to explore dressing the watch down a bit. I often wear this watch daily, so it’s nice to make it a bit more versatile.
