My Pepsi. In fact, it’s the only watch that anybody ever comments on...

Milgauss Z-Blue. The only watch I have ever owned that constantly gets compliments when I wear it.

My most noticed and commented on watch by far is my Doxa Sub 1200T Professional. The unique case, bezel, bracelet, and orange dial apparently add up. Not so much compliments, but more like comments, split between "Hey, is that a Doxa?!" or "Hey, what kind of watch is that?"

Way down on the list are any Rolex comments. I think the Rolex watch and bracelet designs have so influenced other makers that an actual Rolex doesn't draw a second glance, unless it is really large or unusual. When I got my first Rolex, I thought it levitated and glowed. Until I realized that nobody but me noticed or cared what I was wearing. It was kind of liberating.

On a bracelet or NATO or leather, no comments or notice, totally under the radar. If anybody does notice, it's women, and only when wearing my Explorer II Polar on my blue Everest rather than the bracelet. And rarely from men, and only when I wear a Sub on a black RubberB. They actually comment more on the RubberB itself, not the Sub.

There is one glaring exception I noticed recently. I went with some friends to a strip club for the first time in years, last time was back before I even wore a watch at all. Now, I quickly learned that strippers can recognize an exact Rolex reference faster than most on this forum. And in very dim light. At odd angles.

Which Rolex of yours gets the most compliments?

I honestly get so many compliments on this watch. I don’t know if it’s the diamond. Dial or oversized fluted bezel. Out of all my watches this hands down gets the most attention even over my DD 36 YG, sub, explorer ii, DJ41 fluted and jubilee, jlc master compressor chronograph, and cartier de diver.

After that I bought my Sub Date and had it for 8 years and it was invisible (never a single unsolicited compliment).

Now I have a Sub and its my favorite!

Hahaha! I share a similar experience in that I got loads of compliments on my 11 year old Aquaracer which had a black dial, especially when abroad. This watch is now at the bottom of a box God knows where. My TT GMT II tends to get compliments from females and my AK has gone completely unnoticed.

BLNR gets the most compliment. But I fly for a living and in Asia people are crazy for Rolex so they notice it right away. In US no one cares. Only few might take notice.

If I post my watch in social media, then it got lots of compliment.
But in the wild, not that much. Im wearing my Sub ceramic almost everyday since emd of April I got compliment only once.
I think some people are just ashamed of asking or complimenting personally.

My AOPA 75th anniversary Navitimer and Hamilton Khaki. Far more than my sub or Daytona

My watch is hardly ever noticed or complimented on anymore. Used to be, up until the last decade. Not sure why that is happening now

Only watch anybody has ever commented on is my LVc sub. Three times. No one has ever said a word about my Daytona 500c
