My local VC boutique has a "strap bar" where you can order even custom made straps. I'd just call your local AD.

In fact, you can only order alligator.
Awesome, thank you. Eagerly awaiting my first VC and want to grab a gator strap to go with it.

I’ve had the Dual Time for 10 months now and enjoy it a lot with the bracelet and the rubber straps. I’ve never put it on the leather, but this morning, I decide to take that strap out of the box (need to first dig out my box) and put it on. While I didn’t get the gator strap, the Calf straps work well with the watch and I find it actually fit me wrist better than the rubber with less “flare out.” Looks like I’ll be wearing this on tenge leather strap for a while and now I want to order a gator strap with slightly different color combo.

Same for me, the rubber strap flares out like crazy I cannot possibly wear that. Having been a mostly dress watch guy I am not used to the bracelet either... And calf strap isn't bad, but kinda feels like in no man's land for me.

However the cordura strap really saved the whole watch I'm now immensely enjoying the overseas! Highly recommend guys to ask ur BT to get one

I‘m mostly switching between the rubber strap and bracelet for my silver DT.

I find that the somewhat rugged leather of the calf strap together with the contrast stitching gives the watch a somewhat “field watch” style. I like that occasionally but the two other “versions” of the watch suit me much better.

I’m considering getting an alligator strap at time point to see how much you can “dress up” the Overseas. Not sure about the color scheme yet. Brown? Blue? Grey?

Any RL pics would be appreciated.

I wasn’t aware they had cordura style options - I’ve thought a fabric-style strap would be fantastic on these pieces. I’ll look in to it further.

The Everest cordura strap looks great. I see why it works so well with the watch. I haven’t check in with the Boutique so not sure if they can order it. Can you share the model or part number if you have it?

“Field watch” is a good way to describe the style of the Calf strap. I kind of like it as it’s not fully dressing up the watch. The Alligator strap for sure makes it’s more high-end, but from the pictures I’ve seen, it’s more luxurious than dressing up. Still thinking about getting a Gator strap and on what combo works. I’m leaning toward red stitching on grey or dark blue.

Can anyone tell if this is a 42042, and/or if the dial is correct? The no "swiss made" on the bottom bothers me...

For example: It shows a single 42041 example without the Swiss made text, in passing. And then in the section about the text does not mention the possibility of no text at all.

Beautiful!!

Seeing yours, makes me desire mine more.

Was debating trading down for a blue steel but the inflated price of those has kept me from pulling that trigger.

I was thinking of doing the stainless blue face but you get a bit more watch for the money with the rose gold in my opinion.

Our SA told us the first one coming into the boutique will be in September. The price is about USD 28000. We did a quick stop about two weeks ago at the boutique and he brought out a non-working display model, my wife tried it on and was sold instantly. The dial is as gorgeous as the 4500V just in a smaller package. So now she is eagerly waiting for September.

Not sure if y’all would know but:

Was this a crazy deal?

https://waleswatches.com/product/vac...stantin-47450/

I’m looking at this Out of Stock item and it’s a limited edition Wempe VC overseas dual time with box and papers for under 10k. Some brief googling makes me think this should have been priced at at LEAST 12-13k if not closer to 20. Am I missing something??

How is the 4500v and slim flat wrists? I like the easy strap change mechanism and the fact that the watch comes with 2 options. Wondering how it wears on smaller flat wrists ~6.3 in.

I have a flat 6.25” wrist. It wears a bit large:
