I don’t think I can Survive days like that. I’ll definitely go the forbidden tree (her side of the closet) and eat the forbidden apple.

Just want to keep this going. OP says his daughter said, "mom bought a watch" which probably means OP's wife got the watch and he didn't get anything. Mystery solved

You are all guessing and coming up with totally wrong answers.

What was not explained was he was on holiday with his wife and family in the far east.
That counts as travel (A thing we were all allowed to do once upon a time).

One morning, Bright and early, his wife snuck out of the hotel and proceeded to the central area of a city called Bangkok (Now you know where they were holidaying).

His wife came across a very very reputable watch seller who had an enourmous stock of all the models that are sought after all beautifully displayed ion his market stall.

His market stall was covered in them from every imaginable sought after brand.

His wife knew he wanted a Daytona with Black dial.
She saw one on the stand and it looked like new to her.
There was no box or papers but as he was obviously a good seller and he had plenty of friends to vouch for him she went ahead and bought the watch. She paid list price.

When she got back to the hotel, her husband was up, had had breakfast and was ready to go sightseeing of some of the beautiful buildings to see.
Before setting off his wife whispered in his ear that she had a gift for him. He got so excited thet he made a post on this forum.

She presented him with his new watch an hour later, and wow ! He could not beleve his eyes.
He was amazed. He was shocked that his wife bought the watch. He was so amazed that she bought the watch that was a piece of junk after all the years of training she had had with him going round AD's shops all over the world. (They travel a lot).

He was so shocked that he got into a rage and went nuts. He threw the watch out of the window of the 53rd floor window where their suite was.

The watch fell to ground but, about 6 foot from the ground it colided with someone and killed them.
The local police found out what had happened and now the gentleman is languishing in a prison cell and has no access to this forum so can not post his reply.

I got all of this information from my reliable source at the local Omega stall.

This silence is a little strange but not totally unheard of. Hopefully this person is just really busy. Hoping he and his family are in good health.

OP, if you're seeing this.....what did you get? Rolex or not we just want to know.

What cracks me up about this thread is the message casadecamporolex left in the OP’s visitor’s messages.

It’s a hardly used function of the forum, but when you go to see the OP’s last active date it’s the first thing you see.

At least, I hope.
What a cruel joke or twist or whatever if it turns out to not be a watch!
You were wise beyond your years my friend. The TRF community has been suffering from this cruel joke / twist for months.

Albeit, we will continue to wait on pins and needles for your highly anticipated update to this thread.

Hope you are enjoying the Island Life in good health.

This is the beginning of the best selling novel call "Tales of Rolex owners" haha

At least it's not the story I heard about someone's arm getting chopped off because he was wearing a fake Rolex.
