I just recently took delivery of my Bonafe MTO I ordered in January(yes, 27 weeks). So next pair will most likely be a GG Thorpe this fall.

The Bonafes has already taken the test of being used when I went playing with my 4 year old god-daughter the first day I got them. This means spending a few hours climbing everything that is climbable, racing small tricycles that makes your behind hurt a lot and everything else a 4 year old fancy to do. And yes, I have climbed trees and played football with my Edward Green boots too, they can take it.

Wow, glad you finally received them. They're certainly over due, Congrats!!! Actually I'm still waiting on a pair of EG Falkirks that are a restock and they were ordered last October. They failed QC twice already and I hope to have them by the end of September. I hope to have my Thorpes the end of this month or sometime in September.

Skoaktiebolaget is supposed to have some sort of trunk show with G&G sometime this fall, I am waiting for it to hopefully be able to try more lasts and order a pair then.

I guess you've never heard of John Lobb, Edward Green, and Gaziano & Girling which is just to mention a few.

Those three are considered some of the best GYW RTW men's shoemakers in the business. John Lobb also offers bespoke as well.

Other English shoemakers such as Crockett & Jones, Alfred Sargent, and Churches just to mention a few are very highly regarded as well. Their just not consider in the top tier like the other three I mentioned.

There's a number of things that I like about these boots. The fact that I've been meaning to get a split toe boot for one, the fact that the apron is hand
sewn is two, they are in grain is always a plus, and the fact that this Last works so well is another.
