  • blank warranty cards (both old and new styles)
  • case and bracelet protective stickers (fakes but claimed to be indistinguishable from the real thing)

One of those Moda dealers claimed they got them from ADs who recently got their contract terminated.
Thanks, thats exactly what I suspected goes on.

I hate to harp on about this, but did anyone witness the ridiculous puff piece from V Moda on the bloke that was selling the fake 5711 the other day? Absolute nonsense. Claiming old mate was a self-made watch trading genius, one of the best. And because he's and RWB member, fakes are OK.

Stay vigilant out there kings and queens, watch out indeed.

It’s preposterous. Whatever VM is getting in return isn’t enough as it discredits the entire group particularly the so called group experts. Imagine if Steve said it’s ok for DSW to sling canal street Daytonas and then DSW said great here’s a bunch of trash lol

That’s basically what they are doing over there.

I will never buy on MODA and it’s largely due to that incident. All those dealers are so annoying with their circle jerking

It’s a real shame bc I had a great experience buying on there. But the last few months it has really tanked.

Apparently, some Rolex AD recently got their ORJ contract terminated. The aftermath: https://imgur.com/a/aGzjh22.

I have bought a few pieces always from individual collectors and then I make the seller cover the middleman service. But the dealers are mostly annoying. Compared to dealing with the admittedly more expensive dealers here it’s like going from the 4 seasons to the holiday inn lol

Haha sounds like the right analogy. Need to be very weary and buy the seller in this case.

Think that is in the RWB dealer group.

Na sorry mate, I did get some of the blow back/attempt to mop up the debris though. What an absolute farce. It's a shame as the old Moda was a decent place to buy if you carried out due diligence. I'd say they will have lost a lot of buyers over this.

Nice M3 LTW.

I actually got those directly from the dealer's page. For these kinds of things (blank warranty cards, fake stickers, hangtags, etc), they're quite niche so you don't usually see them in the regular Moda group. You have to know who exactly sells them or be an #RWB member so you get access to the actual wholesaler network including WhatsApp groups.

50% over retail for a TT.

I'm sure it won't last long and then this falls hard to Msrp or even 10-20% below MSRP. I wouldn't want to be stuck with this at that point. That's literally losing 10k on a 16k watch

Isn't that a bit like saying no one would by a SS at 2x RRP?

Years ago if you couldn't afford a TT you bought a SS.. The market flipped it could flip again.. unlikely but IAH who knows the next craze

My SA at Rolex boutique told me that many of their clienteles are asking for the new YG and TT GMT models. I doubt it will be selling below MSRP in the secondary market.

The funniest thing on moda is when the idiot sellers post a watch, then claim it sold for a specific price, then say in the comments “I have another identical one in same condition coming” lmao

LOL. The only people who know what a watch actually sold for are the buyer and seller. Funny that people who comment here have not actually figured this fact out.

Could people paid 35 when it first came out. Now there’s one sitting at 23 and change. Oh but you have to pay extra for the box lol

Hey Vince or psm - any updates on my 26420 and 26240s on Moda or somewhere else?

Haven't seen many listed recently on TRF and C24 is just frozen at this point. Nothing moving and nothing going down in price
