I'm new to TRF. DSSD is my first Rolex. I absolutely love it! This is a great to see other people's love for it too!

This watch is so sick. Every angle, and the lume is so hypnotizing.
It has one major flaw, I don't even know what time it is half the time since I look and then get distracted by one aspect or another. Very fortunate to be in this club. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 |

New to this forum so greetings one and all, recently picked up a G serial DSSD with the Mark 2 dial, sold a V serial version not so long ago and found I just can't be without one, love the DSSD.

More or less decided I've just got to have a DSSD.
Is there a "most desirable" model? I keep reading that the Mark 1 is the one to have, then the Mark 2. Also M or V plus other prefix letters. If I'm going to jump I'd like to go for the most sought after version. |

Neither is more valuable than the other at this point. Maybe in 30 years, so if you have a time machine..... |

I agree, it really doesn't matter if you go MKI or MKII, there is no price difference. I perhaps like the MKI dial a bit more but when it was time to buy back the DSSD I didn't see the point of picking up an early V-serial from 2009 for the same price as a LNIB G-serial with 23 months left on warranty at the same price.
These things only matter on enlarge photos on the internet, in reality you don't really see/notice the difference on the wrist. |
