Visited boutique today and had a chance to try the new Concept Split Second Chrono GMT 26650TI

And the new 26420CE ceramic

Both very impressive pieces.

Dear lord, this is going to break the internet again no matter what they do.

While I don't care at all about black panther, and I am not the target audience for that watch anyway, I feel like AP got beat down unnecessarily. The finishing and engraving on that watch was actually incredibly impressive, and lets be honest, it was made for the 0.01% celebrity-types anyway (just look at who was allocated and purchased! Rappers, basketball players, etc.). Even still, pretty sad that people couldn't appreciate the finishing. But that's AP, people will find any reason to hate.

I feel like it was a mistake to put gold lugs on that ceramic. Maybe even the gold pushers too.

I mean, they did create it so that the hands looks like Black Panther’s dick, so there’s that

I don’t think they would have the tech to make them in black ceramic

Interesting point. The prior gen ROO ceramic cases had titanium links for the bracelet. The ceramic Beast has ceramic links, but no quick change.

Saw some of the new ROO releases.
The brick is really much a brick. Ceramic is light but it still feel hefty, thanks to the sheer volume of material to make the watch. my wrist is only 16cm, would be impossible to pull it off.

The 43mm wears much easier. Even had a look at the new Concept, but it's just too big and heavy for my taste, not like it would fit on my wrist either.

Have yet to see the codes and the RO's.

DonLee…I feel very similar. It is amazing what AP did with the ergonomics of the new 43. I have tried it on side by side with the Diver, Beast and RO chrono. IMHO…it is the most comfortable of the 4. The others sit much more on top of the wrist…if that makes sense.

I have. 7 3/8” wrist so the diameter on all of them works for me…but I would rather wear the 43 than the others. The RO chrono is obviously thinner and more comfortable than the others, but I still think I personally prefer the 43mm for regular wear.

I would love to see them do to the diver what they have with the 43 (and shrink the hour hand).

The new 43mm Offshore flying tourb chrono has titanium links with quick change. As does the music edition.

I noticed that. Was able to load the offshore collection by filtering offshore from all watches. Nothing new yet…
