What an amazing evening to end this epic GTG. Great group of men that are like minded. An amazing tour of watch, food, wine, and more watches!!! Thanks Gerardo for the organization, I would love to do this again in the very near future and have more of our brothers and sisters from TRF involved. Truly an epic GTG! This swag bag is truly amazing and can't wait for another GTG to see what swag we get again!

Is it safe to have a tiger in your hotel room?

This is my all time favorite TRF thread.
I think this is what TRF is really all about.
Well done Gerardo and everyone that was part of this definitive TRG GTG.
I think the next one will be monumental in TRF history based upon the comments posted in this thread.
Gerardo should be knighted on TRF for his efforts in bringing this together
X 100 to you Gerardo.

So you were the sommelier Mark? We would get along just fine! . You chose some of my favorites. Did you also have a Quintessa? I usually find that chosen alongside an Insignia and Opus One.

Looks like an amazing time all around. Gerardo, you did a fantastic job coordinating everything. Thanks for letting us follow along with your fun!

Hey All,

Great thread. I'm new on this forum. Been a member on the WIS forum for a few years. Purchased my first Rollie last March. SubC ND. Rarely leaves my wrist. Now I'm on the lookout for my next!

The cigar cutter in Gerardo' s post above was designed and manufactured by a good college buddy of mine. The company is Xikar and located in KC. I'm amazed to see Xikar's products all over the world. Good stuff. Sorry to get off topic!

I look forward to participating in this forum.

Cheers!

Well no Quintessa this time, but I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. In 1999 I took a 4 week class with Master Sommelier Berry Larvin, an English chap who was one of about 6 Master Sommeliers in United States at the time, 4 of them in Las Vegas.

That's about the time the Food and Beverage quailty started to shoot up here in Las Vegas.

I have lots more to learn, as I know nothing about French Wines. And I concentrate on the area in and around Napa.

That's 1,000 for each of the Perpetual 17

Now that my head is somewhat clear and rested, I again wanted to thank Gerardo for organizing this event. We had a wonderful time and look forward to a future GTG. For those of you who followed along on this thread - we enjoyed the comments throughout the long weekend and the opportunity to show off just a bit.

Dear TRF family:

As I sit here (and laugh at posts/pics), I have to admit that I had a great time! This GTG started its planning last September; I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

...maybe a 'part 2'?..........

Have a great week everyone!!!!!
