Particularly love the DD.
Thought out is an understatement I started with Casio & Swatch watches in the 80’s, then a few Breitlngs, Seiko’s, etc....until my first 16610 in 1997. Had that one for 10-12 years, wish I still had it. I have pics of me in scrubs in the delivery room with that watch on, when two of my kids were born. FF to a few years ago, finding TRF, and well....
I’ve built and rebuilt this collection from a dozen, down to two...tried most every Rolex size, shape, color and metal, along with AP & PP. I admire and appreciate the other brands, but grew up loving Rolex, and it’s just my “comfort food” so to speak. Probably stay put for awhile and enjoy early retirement, (we’ll see about that...getting restless) and new grandchild!
Appreciate the kind words! Thank you!

My collection:
- Sub and Speedy are weekend watches. Love them equally.
- DJ41 - is an office watch. Very comfy and versatile. I think people underrate them.
- SKX007 is the beater and sport watch.
- G-shock is my gym time piece.

Thanks. The Monaco is an icon for sure....first automatic chrono, first waterproof square case, rich racing history, Steve McQueen, Le Mans, etc...

Not sure if I feel proud of my collection or stupid for having them! I only really wear three of them in no specific rotation. The rest sit in the bank safe deposit box and one day when I have grandchildren and great grandchildren they can have something to remember ‘Gramps’ by.

What watch roll is this? Looking for something like this that divides the watches.

It’s the 3 watch roll from Everest. I’ve owned it for over a year and it works great!

The first automatic chrono was the Carrera, not Monaco. The only racing history that it has is the Le Mans movie. McQueen only wore the watch during filming, as he had to wear one.
