I miss this watch, I moved it on when it did show the first signs of the movement issue.

It many ways it was the perfect watch.

Which reference did you have? I was reading the first messages from 5 years ago and how some would expect the 116655 to go for around 15k around this time… that did not come to be haha

What Issues were you having with the movement?

Agreed, it’s just a beautiful watch, for someone like me who wouldn’t wear a gold case with a gold bracelet (too flash for my taste) this is really the best option. I did look at some older subs and gmts in gold but this one has too many things going for it. I did read about some issues with the movement, I am not sure if it happens to every movement or just to some. Mine has been keeping perfect time (2 weeks of ownership)

Agree. I’ve sorta followed the mega thread on movement issues, but I’ve had mine since February (12 series) with absolutely no issues so far.
I will say the mini glidelock on OF is also a big improvement over the 11 series…I absolutely love mine and it keeps growing on me…

Good to hear not all movements are affected, I also have the 12 series and the glidelock is the only way I would feel comfortable spending the money on a watch that you couldn’t tweak to get the perfect fit otherwise

I was all set on getting white gold version until I came across this thread. Anyone else debating white vs rose? I too prefer understated and would never usually wear a gold watch, but this ever rose seems to strike a perfect balance.

Prefer the RG, find it adds some warmth to the starkness of the Oysterflex.

It's the matte bezel with the matte black bracelet. Just goes well together.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been reading through threads on the Yachtmaster Everose. I’m a very big fan of this watch. I’ve tried the 37 and 40mm. As a woman with a very small wrist, I felt the 37 wore small and looked more like 34mm , but the 40 surprisingly looked and felt great. Has anyone seen the 40mm on a woman’s wrist?

I own the 40 and my wife has tried it on as she likes it too. She has very small wrists as well and I think either would work, but she prefers the 37 if she opts to own one.
For some context, it took her quite awhile to warm up to bigger watches. She still has a DJ 31, but has creeped up to a 34, a 36 and even a Nomos 38.
I think whichever feels right to you is the right one.
I still love this piece as does my wife….good luck!
