A question of size.

Still in protective plastic from Clearwater. Looks way larger than 42mm Exp. II; is Legacy 48mm including case guards?

great pics (two of my realistic grails ROO 44 rose gold and 15500 OR) but makes you realize that my childhood dream of a rolex looks "cheap" in comparison.

As the 15500OR in the pic I can tell you Rolex definitely has a place in the collection but if you can swing it AP makes a fantastic daily watch!

Definitely been wearing my ROO a lot lately, it helps that I’m mainly wearing tshirts or polos at best.
Somehow lost my Rolex appetite at the moment but still like the Daytona on the rubber strap looks great.

I wouldn't say cheap but Rolexes do look more ordinary when set against the RO and esp the ROO, having said that I remember years ago that the CE Rolexes made my Omega and Tag look pedestrian, as they once did my Raymond Weil, so everything has its place and boy they sure do charge for it.

Alright I need some honest feedback here. I understand that posting in this thread will bring some bias responses, but I am sure most of you have some good advice.

I have been wanting an anthracite or RG 44mm ROO since inception. In order to move forward now, it would make most sense to sell my Rolex GMT II "batgirl" and Sub LV "hulk" and I really love both watches.

Should I sell them both and pick up a 44mm ROO or wait a year or two and add the ROO?

nobody knows what the pricing will be in 2 years, I would really go by what do you think you are actually going to wear - rolex or ROO?
I love the RG 44mm personally

The LVc is my fav Rolex but I would move it for the 44 which is in another league.

RG44 was my first AP and it's a hell of a piece. Love it.

the 44mm RG ROO is a top 5 watch under $50k
I owned one for like 2 weeks - sold it for platinum ROO

Yes, presume Hulk now means this and Cermit or Kermit is the new black dial one.

I’d get the AP44 without any hesitation.

This is totally personal preference.

For me, Batman and Hulk are gorgeous timepieces for their price. I will keep them for a long long time. Just save more money and buy new timepiece that you want later.

I have 15500OR with rose gold bracelet, I love it so much but I still enjoy having Batman, Hulk and other Rolexes very much.

Definitely the AP! It gets worn more than the other 2 combined. The Rolex gets the most attention, nobody knows what the Panerai is lol. The Panerai is so light that I forget I have it on. They are all very different but I feel cover any occasion I may find myself at.

I want a 44mm RG next! This is an expensive addiction!

So this new 43mm ROO gets the novelty tag, and this one goes to legacy line :)

Here is the pic with all chronos in this 44mm case...

Thanks - I hope they are not being phased out…I still prefer them to the 43mm
