Take 2 steps backwards out of Cinderella Land, who in there right mind is going to point to what is potentially a fake Rolex and say that they choose that over what is potentially REAL if they did't know better?

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery....so if the guy couldn't/wouldn't pony up for the 'real deal' you can still show respect him for his champange taste on a beer budget.

I think he knew that his was/is fake but didn't think I would know and/or had too much confidence in the "quality" of his fake.
