I use either a turning bezeled watch or my chronos as a lap counter often times as wells as timing various things.

I use mine to count down the number of presidential candidates as they step out of the race.

Yes and not just dive bezel, but GMT bezels can be used the same way.

From kids iPad time, cooking, or tan timer.

I twist mine around to hear the crisp clicking sound. That’s something, right? My kids like to do it also!

The bezel is the main reason why my divers get so much wrist time. Think that feature alone trumps a chronograph as far as usability is concerned. Obviously the horological value does not compare but for practicality sake it's fantastic. Can time cooking, transit time, work deadlines, etc...I use it for pretty much anything except diving lol

Unfortunately, you can't rotate it nine hours ahead to quitting time.

Yes! I use it to time walks on our out-and-back routes.

For cooking mainly.

I doubt many use the GMT for it's intended purpose.

I must be OCD.

I don't like having the pointer on anything other than the 12 position.

It's probably seized up by now. And the microwave timer is worn out.

That's what is handy about it. If it is pointed anywhere other than 12 I know I must be timing something.

I use mine most days.

Every day that I wear a dive watch I use the timing bezel at some point.

Yup all the time for most of the reasons listed above. Much more easier to use than a chronograph as well.
