I love the sentiment. I thought I would gift watches to my children as well. My oldest just turned 18 and left for college this Fall. Unfortunately, he didn’t give a crap about a watch. Oh well, there are two more behind him, maybe they will be more interested.

lol till the they find out it's worth 50k, they will ask you for it.
you gotta nurture them from young, let them be around your watches. let them know the value of it and the mechanics of it.
