No joking here, but is it the angle of the photo or is the applied crown off center toward the right as well?

Rolex quality department is really bad. Two years ago when I got my Daytona Panda the bezel was not align, the chrono hand damage and there was a red dust on the dial at 4 o'clock.
If I didn't get that watch from the AD I will think it was a fake. I send the watch back and they replace the hand and corrected the defects .
Ahh but the first time they did the repair they scratch the hour hand and minutes hand , so I have to send the watch again. And yes was RSC in Dallas.

You are right it is, but many Rolex have little things slightly off center here and there on the dial. Doesn’t bother me.

I had a brand new Rolex Sea-Dweller with something similar on the dial, I took it to the Rolex service centre in London and they fixed it while I waited, I was literally in and out of there inside 30 minutes so it was clearly an easy fix for them.

I would NEVER have the AD open it. I would have RSC clean it or replace the dial.

Who doesn't inspect their watch on collection.
I get it that some things can be harder to see than others but we're forum savvy and know what to basically look for.
That's poor QC.

Thank you all for your help and input on this issue. So I went to the AD and they have a Rolex authorized service center. The watchmaker said it is a dust, he removed it in less than 5 mins. He asked me to check the watch thoroughly and all is perfect. He also fixed the alignment issue. So it is all sorted now and I can enjoy the watch! Thank you very much

I had the previous gen. black dial that exhibited the exact same issue. Thought I could live with it, but inevitably, my OCD took over. Once "seen", it can't be "unseen", which is how my brain is wired. I sold the watch. I'd have sent it in to be fixed, but by the time I came to the decision to fix or move on, my interests had me going in a different direction. If you suffer from mild OCD issues, then just get it fixed. If not, perhaps you can live with it for 10ish years. My 2 cents.

depending on your AD they should do the right thing.

i had a blemish on my speedmaster dial (bought from my AD) and they took the watch back and replaced it with a new one on the spot.

this is a pretty obvious QC flaw on rolex part so i would assume since you got a stainless daytona you are in excellent standing with your AD and they will do what they have to do to keep you happy.

have it send to the RSC by your AD, it should be an easy fix.
