Patek is a lot more in demand than VC, that is why many people hesitate to take it when they get offer. This 222 VC is selling below msrp in secondary market now.

I always wonder why they don’t make the SS. They know we want it. Elitism? Production incapacity? Vacheron has *no* steel men’s bracelet offerings from 35-40mm (ugh); this would be my next watch.

Capacity constraints…. If you can only produce 25k a year, it makes sense to focus on PM.

It would reduce the value of the overseas line. I don’t think we’ll ever see a steel 222 unless they’re desperate. Probably white gold next, maybe the two tone; overall margins on PM are much better.
