Sky Dweller for me. I've seen that watch in person...one of my buddies has one (he has 4 Sky Dwellers and this is the one he chose to wear the night we went out together last with the wives) and I must say that it's a gorgeous piece! I have a Blue Sky steel/jubilee and we were comparing and the watches are both beautiful but quite different. I've never been a big fan of the polar Explorer ....I think the Sky Dweller is a better watch, a better movement, a more impressive piece and the no brainer choice here IMO.

I recently purchased a TT Skydweller Jubilee with the champagne dial and I love it! Like others have mentioned, it depends if you want a dressier/flashier look, or more of a tool watch “sportier” look. Both watches are great. I would also take into account any other watches in your collection when making a decision. I personally like variety, but you may like with sticking with a certain style of watches.

Did you ask for either of these watches from your AD? You should only buy the watch you enquired about not what an AD is trying to move.

Definitely the SkyD!
I’ve owned a polar explorer II very briefly in the past, in a word it’s “boring “
In my opinion it has nothing going for it all and if it didn’t say Rolex on the dial then nobody would rate it whatsoever.
The SkyD however is a good looking watch with an interesting dial and movement

What utter rubbish. I expect you were going for a reaction. Happy to oblige .

I love the Sky Dweller. I probably won't stop at two. The Polar has got one big thing going for it, which is kind of the point of the watch. It's ultra legible. And once you have dark adapted it remains legible 24/7. If you know the layout of the bezel you can also tell the second time zone, or if it is AM/PM in darkness.

The Polar Explorer II for me. A great watch and a very cool dial layout and orange hand. I also like the way it sits so flat to the wrist and I own one. I own all three options of the Sky-Dweller in SS and really like the watch. I am not a TT fan much and would pass on TT. If they offered you a SS Sky-Dweller in any color that would be where I would go if I did not mind parting with the funds. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

If you travel extensively, particularly internationally, I would favor the Sky Dweller. Otherwise, just what you like best.

Sky dweller for me. The explorer ii has never done it for me. Never used to do it for most of the population either. I am too much of an explorer 1 guy I think.

SkyD > Exp II > SkyD TT

You can't go wrong either way but with these two I'd be all over that Polar Exp II!
