Get the 5968A or G. You can't go wrong.

So this is basically a bundle of a 5270 with the 5740 plus another “unpopular” watch? (From my reading, if the 5524R does not work out, you still need to pick up another watch in order to get the 5740?)

I would like your guys opinion on a nice 3rd watch. its either keep the price the same as 5524 or maybe (this is my take) get a more expensive watch and maybe have access to another sports watch (Acqua maybe etc.) |

Those are options - I like 5320 more and more from pictures- although it seems like the value is quite low already, quite a few dealers have them - I would have to really like it in person.

Congrats on the incomings!
See if a 6119g or r will do it for now. They are fantastic choices. Then add something else down the road if needed.

Seems like a good option without spending so much -
I feel "strange" to quickly "have to" pick a 50K watch - This was the deal and am very happy about it, but I really want to love the watch and none of the options did this to me yet. The 5270 I fell in love immediately and although more expensive was an easy decision. Same for the world time and 5740 - Let me think... I believe they would also allow me to put a "large deposit down" without actually purchasing the piece - this would allow more time for me to think this over. I also know this AD and they will have good stuff in the safe to show me and I may see something I like immediately. |

In the long run I would like a rose gold Nautilus 5980 or 90 and 5968 so if I could get a 6119 now while ordering another "bundle" for 6/12 month down the road that may be a good option - Will also let time for the credit card to cool down |

If your AD have one, definitely try it on. It is actually my favorite PP right now. Trumped the 5711 and 5167a. Maybe the 5740 will change my mind when it finally gets here. |

Adding a Calatrava would help build a more well-rounded collection, Patek and the AD always like to see that. If you are married, perhaps there’s a ladies watch you can add to cover the additional monies you need to spend.

Done!
A few pictures guys - not very good quality but have been running all day. Frankly now that I own the "hard to get watch" (Naut.) I can tell you that 5270 looks so much better. They had nothing left in the safe (available to me) I tried the 5202 and I looks too small and "chunky" on me and the dial of course tend to get dark if not in direct light (looks black). At one point I said ok I will buy it and my rep said are you sure? you don't seem to love it and I don't want you take it like this. So we agreed on putting a deposit down on my next purchase. I will think about this some more - 5172 is growing on me... Maybe try to do another nice bundle with Aquanaut. They also offered me a Patek travel bag, definitely a nice gesture, but the bag is not finest I have seen quite frankly. I also ordered 3 new straps for the 5270 - Bottle green, orange (not sure the color name - coral maybe?) and light grey - all in shiny square gator. Very happy about the trip - the big surprise for me was how I really enjoy the dressed watch more then the sport watch. the last 24h I didn't wear the nautilus once and don't want to take off the 5270. |
