Panerai in general gets more attention and gets more unsolicited comments out in the wild from both men and woman of all ages.
This has been a trend I have noticed the last 10 years and it’s not changing. The Luminor design is unmistakable and will never be confused with anything else. There still is a lot of Hollywood presence on and off the screen.
My black Pam 662 Carbotech model gets a lot of love. I think because it’s a big black luxury watch that stands out from the sea of SS watches. There is a “cool factor” with this watch that gets the most comments by a comfortable margin. Even my SS Panerai Pam 104 gets more attention than any other of my Rolex models.

Like a flat black LaFerrari on the wrist.

Just the other day.

Without a question my Doxa 1200t professional (orange dial). The orange is what people notice.

I tend to get comments when I wear a TT model (I've never owned a solid gold watch.) That said, my TT sub got the most comments. A British colleague once commented "that's an exquisite timepiece." I just chuckled.

The BLNR got a compliment once at a restaurant and that’s it :), I think only people who are in to watches notice what you have on the wrist. Rest of the world don’t care.

TT CHNR. More than probably every other watch put together. People seem genuinely taken and pleasantly surprised by it for some reason.

Very minimal that anyone comments on what I am wearing but I have had interest once or twice both on my Polar EXP II and Submariner. I've had someone notice my Omega Speedmaster as well a couple times. Mostly all watch enthusiasts.

These two

And

And Rolex wise

Now if I included watch enthusiasts comments it would skew heavily in favour of the Daytona’s, LVc, 5 digit GMTs and bb58 I own.

Ps The attention is not important to me. And the vast majority of people have no idea about watches.

My 1973 solid gold Omega Genève Automatic, inherited from my father, has had lots of comments over the years. Nobody ever notices my Sub! The Omega still runs beautifully:

Batman 2.0 (Jubilee). Several times, usually followed by "where did you get it." All men, one woman

2-Turn-o-Graph, several times, all WIS men.

3-Full Everose Gold Daytona, only a handful of times, all women.

All of the others? Zero.

My Rootbeer has received a couple compliments recently, but other than that it is one of teh few I've received in 35+ years of watch wearing.

This one is the only one that ever gets comments. I attribute it to it's vintage vibe and TT look. Plus copper is an unusual dial.

Hands down my RM, receive a comment almost everytime I wear it. Never one on the 5980.

When I had it, the Nixie vacuum tube timepiece. A friend got it as a bday gift.
