All my life i buy watches exclusively that i like! Not the ones worn by youtubers and influencers. All my life I have been interested in Rolex divers. I respect Pepsi or Daytona which are wonderful watches but I am not interested and i do not understand people who want them just because they are popular.

I don’t understand the posts about a price hike. Maybe it’s me. But 1) almost all can’t be had an MSRP and 2) if I like a watch enough I can care less about a few percent. It comes down to if I see value at a given price. With the current Rolex offerings I don’t, so have 0 interest and will stick with my now 23 year old sub.

Second one: Blue SS Sky Dweller (last week).

I think I’m done for the year. But if offered interesting piece I may get swayed.

So glad my AD was able to get my DJ41 in before the price increase. Worked out perfectly! No more Rolex buying for me. I'm set now!

I'd happily buy now if there was inventory at my AD.

Now I just need to find an AD who will sell them to me...

Unfortunately buying before the price increase is not really an option!

I would like a 41mm Wimbledon at MSRP. I just love datejusts. :)

Was not referring to new watches only. Meant gray ones as well as their prices too will rise in tandem

I’ve been eyeing this Timex. Do you think they’ll follow Rolex and raise their price too? I better grab it by the end of the year.

Yes, I pulled the trigger on a NOS 2018 BLNR fully stickered since I can’t get the ad to allocate me one. Paid full boat, but excited as I’ve always wanted this piece. Found a fully stickered one with an open card too.

Steel sport prices jumó the most. Curious to see how much this will translate in the grey market.

Like what a 31mm solid gold DJ with a pink mop dial and diamond bezel, not really my thing. No matter what model it is, there aren’t any to buy, now, before the price hike. The situation is a wash.
Unless you mean hurry up and go grey before “they” raise prices, the wait continues because I don’t care how hot an orange OP, Airking, 31mm DJ with a smooth bezel or six figure pm get on social media, if it’s not a watch I want, a looming price hike won’t make me buy.

Hard to name any Rolex which is “available” now before the hike. Hell, by the time I get a Daytona they’ll be so many hikes I’ll probably end up paying what market value is.
