Personally I think olive dial pairs better with more outfits than the blue does.

I’d go for the olive and come service if you really wish then request for a dial change.

I’d imagine that it would be a cheaper route to buy now and change dial later than pay the impending price increase of the day date

Of course you are correct. Let’s face it, you must be. After all, you don’t have mere opinions like we mortals; rather you express absolute truths proven by macho phrases such as “full stop”. If only I had your perspicacity it might have prevented me from collecting the wrong watches, or anything else for that matter.

I have a tough time with these threads. “Convince me to take a dial color I didn’t want pls”

Sorry, but it makes no sense to me. We are creatures of many mysteries and we have desires and preferences sometimes few understand. Anonymous forum opinions don’t sway me, but maybe that’s just me?

Got a call from AD ( btw know them well, done lots of business, kids went to school together, etc.) and they had 40 mm white gold with olive face. Suggested I come in to take a look. Not grooving on that combination.

Had a 2019, full kit, barely worn 40 mm day date blue face in preowned section. Selling for $49k, going market.

New MSRP (as of today) $39k, BUT they tell me prices going up effective January 1, they are thinking maybe 3.5% or so.

So they questions is: take the combination I want now, pay the $49k, or wait and pay the higher MSRP when my watch is available? The delta between market and MSRP obviously narrows as 2022 price goes up (heck might not be 2023 before I get my new one). Not huge dollars in the whole scheme of things but would appreciate feedback.

The pre owned may be gone (was there at 11:30 est today).

Thanks to all and best for the holiday season!
I thought PM pricing was unchanged in 2022.

Steel Professional line is going up substantially.

European list anyway.

First world problems. But if I was faced with the same dilemma I'd have your same problem. Both are stunning dials. I am a little biased towards the Olive Green because green is my favorite color but even then that blue... Tough choice but you really can't go wrong. Great problem to have.

How about you take the green one at list and then trade 1:1 with a grey that has the blue one. Don’t know much about the secondary values of these watches but given the feedback here seems that if anything the green one has more fans - would thus expect it to have a similar grey market price if not higher?

Green is roughly 10k higher secondary. It would be an easy swap.
