Actually the Submariner diamond dials were discontinued a year or two ago.

Hell yes if you like it. I'm not a diamond guy so you know what I'd do if I was buying a watch. If I had to, it would be on a serti dialed sub- all day.

I agree on all 4 points

I love the 5 digit Serti Subs. Don't really care for the 6 digit Subs with diamonds.

Personal bias, but diamonds on a gentleman's watch don't look right.

116613LN with diamond dial - any love?

If you like it - go for it!!!!

I think that Rolex does a great job with the serti dials.

I like it. I would do it, if only they also had lume around the diamond markers. I'm a lume guy.

Diamonds behind the crystal lose their scintillation and on the bezel/case are too much for me.

the 116613LN looks better with the diamond dial imo because the writing on the diamond dial is gold instead of white (on the non diamond dial), same thing for the frame of the date window.

Some great pics here. I think they look great. Not for me, at least at this point but my tastes change all the time.
If you like it, that is all that matters. Will certainly be more unique as you do not see many of them in the wild.

I disagree with the diamonds losing their pop.

If you like your watch to look more like jewelry, then go for it!
