THC and my Uniball

I sign my name at least 50 plus times per day. Love the action of my Uniball. I have cartons in black, blue and red for marking up drawings with the latest revisions. I have lost a few of them to subcontractors that like the feel of the pen as I have them sign documents. Or maybe they think that out of the deal they think I owe them a pen. Anyway my Uniball and my THC I just finished doing paperwork today.

While a nice fountain pen is gorgeous and I can see why you enjoy them. I know I like writing with them. However I seem to always make a mess when using one. Notably I place the pen in my shirt pocket without the cover and then realize another shirt bites the dust.

Aloha my friends and enjoy the day life is way to short to go around unhappy. Make the most out of it!

Tom

I have made my living as a writer across various media for 20 years, but have never spent more than $5 on a pen.

for me the association is true. mechanical watches and fountain pens. after a string of lamys (safaris in the main), i now have a Pelikan and a Lamy 2000 to go with my HULK. For me fountain pens and nice ink and nice paper, you're appreciating the little things. And to me it's the little things that make a good life.

Pens come in handy for writing.

I use a Fisher AG7 Space Pen and Kokuyo notebooks. Both have served me well for years and years and years.

I'm a video editor. Work a lot on computers. I do take notes once in a while, and I just use whatever pen is closest.

I never said I don't use them, just that it seems like I use them less and less these days.

I agree. There is a certain luxury in writing with a fountain pen on nice paper.

I've just decided in the last month to resurrect my written diary, journal, and notepads, and I've started to write hand written letters to people the reaction I've received, even in such a short period, is astounding. Keeping a written diary on the desk is just so much easier than using Outlook or Apple Calendar.

I have a few Graf Von Faber Castell pens and pencils, but haven't splurged on the fancy GvFC or ST DuPont fountain pens yet. I've got a couple of Lamy Safari's, one yellow and one matte black, and I also just received a Delfonics wooden ball point with extra fine tip.

I've been a pen collector for many years. The Parker, second from left, is 55 years old.
