Do you want a flex piece on your wrist or a true history watch for those that know know. I prefer my 321. Much better looking imo. But I’m biased as I never understood what the big deal was with a Daytona other than what others have posted here, “A watch that wasn’t popular until a salad dressing guy wore it while pretending he was a race car driver.”

But end of the day, it’s your choice OP. If you love the Daytona, grats. If the 321, grats again.

The 321 is my favourite speedmaster but I’d still take the Rolex. If I was a chrono guy I’d want both though..

The black Daytona is a very versatile watch and so fun to wear, even more so than the panda let alone that Speedmaster.

Black Daytona 116500ln vs Speedmaster Calibre 321. What’s your pick?

I would take the 321 over the SS black Daytona 116500.

Both are great watches, but one the 321 is more special IMHO. And it’s also more legible.

The 321 couldn’t be an only watch (no Speedy could) for me, but if you pair it with your White Daytona and your BLRO, you will have 3 fantastic watches with plenty of variety.

Daytona. For a speedy I would go with the standard hesalite version. I don't buy into Omegas limeted hype.

I’d say the exact opposite. To me, from a foot away, the Daytona looks like any other chrono with prominent sub dials. To me, the Daytona BLENDS in with flashy busy chronographs from ANY brand that you see young guys wearing. That’s my problem with chronographs in general.

The Speedmaster Pro or 321? IMO, one of the most unique looking chronographs on the market.

Black Daytona. It is much better looking and more interesting than the redux 321.

my opinion, of course:

daytona:
+ looks nicer
+ slim profile
- useless chronograph
- difficult to tell time given the reflective hands

321:
+ history
+ modern updates on a classic watch
+ unique
+ can read the time easily
- thick profile, straight lugs, not as appealing as newer models
- 321's timekeeping is strictly worse than the daytona's

321 wins for me.
