I'm thinking about this slightly differently and interpreting the question as: If I could walk through an AD door, that doubles as a time machine, and find every Rolex from, say, the last 20 years (time I've been into watches), which would I go home with?

For me, the answer would be:

124270
114270
14000 (white or blue)

No pics, but for me it's black ND sub, GMT (Batman or Pepsi) and Daytona.

If I must keep only 3 it'll probably be these:

116710BLNR
116500LN
126710BLRO

What I’d like but don’t have.

But never will.

Ceramic Pepsi.
Explorer ii polar.
Bluesey

And that would do me

This is pretty much my ideal trio except I would replace the GMT Pepsi with a green Sub.

Ha, ha ... wouldn't you like to know...

The one in the middle was born as a black dial 116500LN, and I managed to acquire an original steel/black dial to make my own Holy Grail.

And, yes, that did take some jumping through hoops, but I did get it from an official AD.

Is it not possible to buy the bracelet on the WG oyster flex and replace the rubber band?

From the ones I own, it would be Hulk, Batman, and SkyD. Ideally would replace SkyD for a Daytona if that ever arrives.

You can list the specific dial and/or bezel colors if you like.

I’ll go first: Submariner (Cermit), GMT II (Batman), and Daytona (Panda).

Some great trios here.
As for mine? Maybe not what everyone else would pick (from my now bloated and troublesome collection!)... but here we go!

The middle three.

I am not sure, but I did not want a WG watch.

I wanted the SS Daytona with the dial reserved for WG. Perfect for daily wear this way.

;)

Somebody here named it 116500LN-0072. :D

Given my collection, the only one missing for me is the Daytona to complete it.

But if I had to choose only three, it would be the Daytona, Hulk, and Batman.

Sorry I done 4. Couldn’t do three

The meteorite day date is my favourite watch but I think a day date really needs to be yellow gold if only one.
