I would wait a year or so and keep one pam.. the prices will start to drop once these new APs become widely available. :) wouldnt mind to save 5~6 grand by getting a mint second hand:)

I respectfully disagree to the quality over quantity phrase. Who's to say Bell and Ross and Panerai don't make quality watches too? I don't think you can really compare AP to Bell and Ross. It would be an uneven game. The way I would see this is if you would desire to "consolidate" your collection. If it will make you happy then I say do it. I've been down that road too so I understand your dilemma plenty. And always know that part of the fun of this hobby is the hunt. You can always go back to Bell and Ross and have more fun in rebuilding your collection.

I say do it B.

Yes, but, given the two models already in your AP collection, how about a 15202 or a 15300/15400 and keep the 183 or 305?

EDIT: just saw that the responses so far are 35 to 1, so, it seems pretty conclusive!

This is the AP subsection so it's no surprise that the answer to the poll is a resounding YES , but do consider that if you wait a little while the prices will come down a bit and perhaps you can save one of your other pieces. I'm not much of a panerai guy at all so I say get rid of em, but do rid the B&R pieces for sure!

I might miss the Panerai if I've some great variety of straps to play with. Hence, I would keep/add one Pam and dispose the rests for the new Navy/Safari.

Probably, but I'd hang on to the 183. Wait a year or so for supply to increase on the AP, and you can probably save a good chunk of cash as well.
