I've long thought about this and the point has been brought up before in regard to the cyclops being glued on as opposed to being one piece. Then again maybe a mad Rolex scientist promised Mr. Rolex a solution that he would have a seamless solution by 2012 five years ago?

sounds awesome, then I will not save extra cash for 116713LN TT GMT, which I believe it's the best looking GMT in the SS/TT/Gold series

Personally I don't think it will happen, but we can always hope

Pepsi and Coke inserts don't appeal to the mass markets, just a handful of WISes trawling watchforums would buy, so from a commercial perspective little point in Rolex bringing back things of the past.
However, I would be first in line to buy a Cerachrome Root Beer!!!!

I wouldn't hold my hopes up too high for a pepsi bezel, historically new releases start with all gold then TT and SS comes at the end .. so based on that analysis im pretty sure that pepsi should be preceded by a root beer or another bi-color bezel on a TT GMTIIc

Don't they? Considering the numbers available they must have sold fairly well before they were discontinued?

that's why they're standardising spare parts like bracelets, clasps and culling refs to avoid higher production and said inventory issues because of a too wide breadth of stock. more standardised things can roll off the conveyor belt at greater speed for rolex, for us as there's less to choose from

I would love to see a new Pepsi personally, but my fear is if they use the current blue from the sub, it could end up looking like a cheap fake to most people when it is first released.

If they do make a pepsi ceramic, I hope they change the gmt hand o the same one as the EX 42 in red or blue.

I think Rolex has buried the Pepsi / Coke for the masses...save for a few gaudy, blinged out diamond studded models.
A week to go...or less if we get a "leaked" photo or two. |

Can someone post a photoshop picture featuring the Submariner ceramic blue color for a pepsi ceramic insert? I cannot figure out how it would look like.....

If they don't revitalize the GMT I can almost guarantee they will find another model to outfit with a Red bezel. To that end, I think another color has to come eventually, whether that color is Lemon, or Orange, or Gunmetal, or Indigo, something else. |

If they did release one, how impossible is it going to be to get?? Will it reach SS Daytona status? Will it sell at MSRP or above? It seems like there are masses out there craving a Pepsi/Coke C on all Message boards all over the net. I'm one for sure
It does need the red accents though !! |

I would think a "Hulk" GMTII would be somewhat easier, as Rolex already knows how to make the green dials & bezels. As with everything else related to Rolex at Basel, it's just a guess...

So far we've heard:
Improved YM I ND Sub C Gmt Pepsi/Coke Ceramic bezel Daytona TT Certainly at least one of these has to be true!
