Ya takes yer chances when ya bundle, and your chances are going to be less than good.

It is unfortunate, but that is the norm in today's watch-world. That is why so many collectors are so p___d off, being unable to get what they want without going to the gray markets and spending enormous amounts of $$$.

There’s always bundling , the more the better . There just won’t be any Rolex involved .

I remember them well. I've seen both white and black dial 116520 Daytonas in the AD case back in 2014. And from there until around 2017 you could get No Date Subs, BLNR, Hulks, Patek Aquanauts and Nautilus in steel. Every Royal Oak was obtainable for a discount , even the Jumbo.
But I didn't have the money for them all and even many I could afford I passed on. It reminds me that if I passed on a watch at retail back then, there is no way I would pay over retail for them now.
I'm talking to you the 15202st, 5726a and 5167a I had in my hand at a retailer and said no to.

Unfortunately the market has moved significantly over the past 2 years. Bundling of Rolex is no longer a thing, nor are PM discounts.

The whole point of bundling is that you buy 2 or 3 crappy watches to get one good one. Which is obviously advantageous for the salesman and the store. Not buy two awesome watches to get another awesome watch which is only to your advantage

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find stock where I live for any Yellow Gold Sky-Dwellers. About a year ago, there was plenty in showcases.

Is it possible to bundle this deal with a 116500LN White Dial anymore?

I am also looking to buy a Speedmaster to add to my chronograph collection. I feel like a few years ago where I was not in this position, it was possible to do this. But I am not sure about now. Maybe the area I live in is just out of these models?

Please I would appreciate any advice.
Won't do, at least in my AD, they explicitly state that they won't bundle with rolex. Moreover, the ones for your bundle are all hot models. I guess if you're only interested on the 116500LN is be upfront with your SA, regarding how much you would have to spend for that piece. Same thing with the YG Skydweller and OF. This is what I did to finally get an RG Oysterflex.

You’re struggling to find them, yet want them bundled with a steel Daytona?
Good one

Congrats, but so are 40+ million bitcoin traders.

Seeing them on display a year ago? You probably missed the fine print "For display only".

My suggestion, gifting your relatives Hublot's instead. Buy a few Hublots at full price then get on the list to buy the SkyD for yourself.

My advice is not to bundle anything.

OP does one post and is non-responsive after, kind of useless thread at this point lol

Would be great to hear his thoughts on the current responses, and how he's thinking about proceeding in this case.

I'd be surprised if an AD would bundle these with SS Daytona.
If you were to buy Hublot/Chopard and some diamonds, then it may be more plausible.

Keep in mind, once you bundle with this AD that will be it.
Any other ''hot'' watch you want from them, you would need to buy other stuff.

I was able to bundle a Daytona SS with a ring and I got an Sub Starbucks 6 months late without buy anything else.

I think the bundle only helps for really hot ones like Daytona...

Did you ask your local AD regarding your purchase request and what did they tell you?

Hey OP, you may not realize this as you are a very wealthy man, what you are asking for is one years average Canadian salary in profit if you factor in income tax.

Why would some one give you all that money?

It can happen, but you will have to get creative.

Thoughts?

Well, I think you're asking for hard feelings by gifting one watch with solid 18k bracelet and one with Oysterflex.

I mean, really, can you just imagine the horror (and gall) of someone opening up a Rolex box and finding they've been given a watch on a sh*t rubber band, while the other person is triumphantly parading around with a solid gold bracelet draped around their wrist? I'll tell you one thing, I wouldn't want to be present at that family gathering.

The state of the market is really shocking me tbh. A year ago I saw the exact Sky-Dweller sitting in the case at my AD

This is what I was being told and was wondering if this is the situation everywhere. It's crazy to me that it is difficult to find an Oysterflex Sky-Dweller.

That I need to build a bigger purchase history and that they can only get me one. Basically, I have to purchase 3 more non-Rolex watches to purchase a Sky-Dweller. Then I would have to build new history for the Daytona as I already got a 'popular' watch.

Guy's I appreciate the replies so much! Sorry for the late response. I am not used to posting on the forum and was struggling to find my own thread

To be honest, the reality of the market is so crazy. I will be looking at other watch brands. I will still try to build more history with my AD to work towards a Daytona as it is the one I really want. I guess PM Rolexes are out of the question for quick purchases.

I thought it was like before where I can bundle just because I saw a Sky-Dweller in inventory about 9 months ago. I wanted to know if this was the situation everywhere.

Again, sorry for the late replies!
