Wow!!! that is a miracle!!! How did you walk into AD and ask for a SS Daytona?
I dont think it is going to happen to me, not in this lifetime. I was just in L.A, Santa Ana, Anaheim area. No luck there for me. So, You paid full MSRP 10400.00 and no Tax? WOW!!! Congrats, Enjoy it my friend. |

Thank you all for your wishes! I'm sure you will be hearing more from me now that I own a Rolex!!!!

I was shocked as well! Geary's did not advertise to everyone they had the watch, in fact the watch was in their vault. It took a little bit of getting to know the salesmen for him to cough up the watch A month ago though I was talking to an AD and they told me all the AD's get a final shipment in early December for the Rolex Factory shuts it's doors for the holidays. So if this is actually true, Geary's has had the watch for a couple of weeks. Which makes sense because as I said in my first post, the sales clerk was telling me something about how they try to hold some watches in the back so they have stock after Christmas. It is all about timing, I happened to be there the day after Christmas in the morning about 2 hours after they opened, they told me the watch would probably be sold in the matter of hours if I did not stroll into the store that morning. I'm sure if it is meant to be you will find one to, it's just pure luck and timing. |
