I voted for the SS/WG bezel one, but I also like the Black Romans and the Green Romans might look good in the wild.

Yes, it does look nice, but that white lume marker at '9' does seem a bit out of place......don't you think so?

Agree, without that it would be my choice.

Then again, maybe you can get used to it?

I did at first but I'm not sure if I would want a IX. The more I study this one I find the balance with the date is quite pleasing. I also think the controversy regarding this is sure to make it intresting as time goes by.

I think it would only take 10-15 minutes wearing it in the store to determine if you like it or not.

If those 3 were the only choices and I had to buy one I'd go with the green.

If I later on found that I couldn't live with the marker I would take it out and replace it with a diamond baguette.

Hmmmm.......so valid points there, buddy. But what do you think about the Romans themselves? Are they just PRINTED or APPLIED like those gorgeous Arabics above?

Keep calling me ugly, tosser. You should find it a very great honour to be on that LIST. There are members here who would part with a Rolex to be on it!!!

Having now seen them in person at my AD I would say the black dial TT with arabics is the way to go, that dial is something to behold, it has a shimmer in the light that is mesmorising.

With the increase in size I actually think this watch looks best in TT, my personal choice would be this dial with Rolsor gold rather than yellow gold, very classy and elegant IMHO!

I guess you realized that it was the blue and not the gold that was causing the bad luck. I wish you only the best of luck with this new watch. Also I know you have a love of precious metal, you have a tool watch in the sub. A gentleman of your substance requires more than one precious metal watch I think so go for the full TT effect, with your skin tone and hair colour that TT will look stunning

I can't wait to see your excellent review, I love reading them

JJ, I really like the SS/WG DatejustII and the blue arabic numerals. You have the enjoyment of having gold but it doesn't stick out like the two toned with yellow gold. Also the light blue color on the numerals is a very soft color and goes with the white gold!!!

Wow, Green Romans got the fewest votes. I voted that one, beautiful!! Probably MUCH nicer in person, but even the stock pic looks great!
