I am absolutely nautios with envy. That is everything I would want in a Red Sub! The first thing I noticed was that Rivet bracelet, as that is exactly the combo I love! What year is she? Did you find her here on the forum...ebay...or a local vintage dealer?

Hi Glidelock...i know how you feel and for quite a while i was looking at other's Red Subs and felt the same way.

I was told by a Fred (Red1108NYC) that is particular sub was being sold by Jed (Jedly1):

The date shown on the Chronometer paper work is 11/1974, Mark4 dial, Serial #330xxxx

Regarding the Rivet Bracelet. I copied the following from the below link here on TRF:

2. USA Made Riveted Bracelets -- There have been more than a few Red Subs that were purchased from original owners that had USA Riveted bracelets on them. Whether they were originally installed, requested by the customer or switched by the dealer, we may never know for sure. Don't be surprised if you find a Red Sub with this bracelet configuration. Keep these points in mind:
-These bracelets do not have a model number stamped and are simply known as USA Made Riveted Bracelets
-There is no diver expansion or a flip lock on this bracelet
-The end pieces are attached to the bracelet and are not stamped
-The clasp is the only component with stamped 'hallmarks'
-There is always a date stamps that ranged from the 1960s to the late 1970s
-These bracelets have a cheaper feel than any of the other bracelets

Congrats! I'm also new to the forum and in the market for a complete set red sub (box, papers, etc.). Any tips on how to best use the forum to connect with a seller? Trying to find a quality complete set on the net has proven to be more difficult than I expected.

I'm guessing this rivet bracelet is confusing to some until they read that post and others that tell of these rivet bracelets originally coming on some 1680's.

Incorrect sir, the C&I bracelet could be very correct for a USA watch. Not in Italy, but it is correct here!

I have two GMT's in my collection with C&I rivet bands dated later than 1976. One is dated 1977 and the other is dated 1978.
