Congratulation on your new DJ

Datejust is a classic Rolex and looks great with any outfit. I am sure you enjoy wearing it.

I agree with this statement 100%!
Looks great! Fantastic!

Are you close to retirement, or just picking this up? I'm retiring at the end of the year and picked up my (hopefully) last/retirement watch a month ago, a DJ41.

I got lucky and acquired what I thought to be my "retirement" watch at 37 (an unforeseen opportunity occurred). The watch is now a constant reminder of how lucky I am as it brings joy to my life daily. And I get to enjoy it now vs. waiting another 30 years for actual retirement. I hope your new Rolex does the same for you.

I know this isn’t a terribly rare piece or anything but it’s the first time an AD committed a piece to me over the phone.

It was a great experience and I finally have my “old man” watch that reminds me of my grandfather.

That’s great, timeless (pun intended)

That is a classic! I purchased one very similar as my first Rolex back in 1983 and gave it to my son almost 5 years ago. He wears it every day, as I did at his age.

Yours is a "new vintage" DD! Congratulations.
