Thanks for all the warm hearted' replies! It should be know that this example of the 116618 Smurf appears to be only made in 2009 and it's a V serial. There are not many out there remaining in this condition.

In 2010 it was a G Serial, but I haven't seen any, have you?

I thought about the Sunburst, but after comparing them I knew I wanted the Smurf Blue dial. I don't think, save for a few lover's of the Smurf, that it was very well received, hence the reason for the sunburst coming out so soon after.

I kinda wanted to go dd-40 or similar but I really have to have the adjust-ability of the Glide-lock. I can get by with the Easy-link and it works well. But I like water sports, vacationing, and diving, and the glide-lock works well for that...

Wow thank you, that is a lot easier. I used to click quote then CTRL + C / CTRL + V into a notepad. Then I would hit back and redo it for all the quotes lol.

My thoughts as well. Was if because it was "different"? If so I totally get that. Regardless, congrats and enjoy it.

Beautiful, this is my grail watch. Just purchased a nice 16618 this week. In my opinion, the best looking Rolex out there.
