Thanks Thomas--very fortunate as it wasn't listed for sale and sat in a large collector's private collection-hardly worn. It truly looks brand new! These aren't easy to find as you know especially in mint condition!

Congrats! That is an amazing addition. I think you have quite a family of ROOs in your collection now? :) Would love to see a photo of a family shot of the ROOs when you get a chance, assuming you can get the new RB2 Ti off your wrist.

Enjoy in good health!

Cheers,
James

Wow Ken. Didn't realize you were buying so soon. I thought when you posted on my thread you were just contemplating buying. It is a beautiful watch and I really get the AP thing now. Rory McIlroy had the ROO Chrono in RG in the post round interview today. It's a beautiful watch too. Thanks for the wonderful pics. Did you flip anything to buy it?

What an incredible watch ! Any historical info on the piece would be nice to read about. For instance , why that particular one? Connection with the past?

Enjoy !

As for why this one? It is my favorite LE AP made. It is one of most sought after ones and very hard to track down in mint condition as I stated. It was made in 07' and sold out instantly as only 1,000 were made.

It's just the lighting in your pics. There's no way that watch looks that good in person right? (do me a favor and just agree with me. lol)

I don't know if it's because lately I've been looking for white dial watches or thinking more about complications, chronometers and watches outside of the Rolex line, but something about your pics tugged at me. Now you have to go ruin it by telling me how rare it is to actually acquire.
