Never mind, I just Googled it to find 15C and cloudy (which I could tell by the pics).

I think I'll hold off a week before hitting the road.

ah ah ! Welcome to Paris !

I recommend 2 vintage Rolex boutiques.

1. "Paris heure" 21 Rue du Bac, 75007 Paris (they love Daytonas)
Website: http://www.parisheure.com
2. ""Romain Réa" 26 rue du Bac, 75007 Paris (True renowned expert, but expensive, you gotta negotiate, i think i'll get my vintage GMT from him)

As you can see, both are in the same street and there is a lovely bakery in front of the first shop. Very charming street, not far from the Seine and Louvres.

Enjoy !

It's a great place! Did a lot of the "tourist" stuff today with our friends that are visiting for the first time. Going "deeper" tomorrow, then South for a few days.

By going "deeper" I assume you mean you are doing the catacombs tomorrow. Get there early...line ups can be long at times!

Done that one a few years ago before it became so popular, my wife who has been here for 2 weeks already tried to get some of her students into there and they waiting 3 hours before having it close in front of them. Frustrating I'm sure... I don't do the long line thing anymore By deeper I mean neighborhoods more of the tourist grid. Meeting some friends that live over here for lunch tomorrow.

It's the "7e arrondissement" equivalent of district 7.

such a beautiful place, love to visit and stay awhile. The only thing wrong with Paris is it is full of parisians.

So true. Parisians are grumpy but they have a good heart.

I used to love that city. Lived there 12 years on and off. Not the same classy place anymore. Don't miss it.

Forget the watches, make sure you go to the street markets. We were there last year and found Rue Cler Market Street (7th arrondissement) to be an awesome suburban market. If you like cheese, go to the Fromagerie there and try the Brie with black truffles.

Out of curiosity, how many watches did you take with you? Which ones?
