yes I read it, and the article correctly stated that the watch worked fine after being subjected to such conditions once. but if you bothered to read the post by Passionata, which refered to regular use in saunas, then you might get the point, which did not conclude that the watch would end up boiled.

If you can go in a sauna 1 time so can your Rolex, if you can go in 10 times so can your Rolex, if you can go in 100 or 1,000 times so can you Rolex, it's as simple as that.

BTW, i read Passionatas post and since we're talking about Rolex here it doesn't really matter if an Omega can't take the heat.

principle still exactly the same. I have read people on here that are rightly concerned that new pieces sat in AD's have been subjected to sitting in warm (and no where near as warm as a sauna) conditions for a prolonged period of time before purchase and parts of the movement drying up. rolex quite happy to correct this under guarantee.

but hey, what do i know

so according to you, you could leave a rolex in a sauna 24/7 with absolutely no adverse effects?

you have clearly insinuated that it makes no difference how often it goes in a sauna as the rolex is completley unaffected. changing your mind now?

I'm not changing anything as you can go in a suna as many times as you want.

As with anything mechanical it of course requiers that regular maintenance is kept to par.

Hey Andreas, when they can't read and understand posts they start to twist your words around and this is what happens.

The only hole dugged here is the one you did when you mixed up Rolex with Omega.

But like you said to another member here a while ago: I'll await your apology.
