hi mel, i'll post a lume shot when i get a chance to set up my tripod
![]() And UPDATE.... three months on with the Aquanaut and it is by far one of my favourites. the dial is unreal, featherlight, nothing i can't say i don't like about it. only problem is, i'm looking for more pateks! a few wrist shots of the Aquanaut... thought i'd be appropriate seeing this is a 5167 thread ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What does your fellow passenger think on the tube when you keep taking photos of your watch? :-)
Great photos, as always. I miss mine. As said, once you play in that division, there is no turning back. |

![]() the good thing about the Tube in London is that people have their mouths shut, if you talk you're either: a. on drugs b. escaped from Nightingale c. pissed up everytime i wear the Aquanaut and put on the DSSD it's like going from fine dining to greasy spoon

Thanks for the review.
One of my favorite watches, i had to sell a couple of AP's and some other last year to settle a divorce, one of the was a diver. But then I tried the Aquanaut on... The diver didn't stand a chance! I read many comments about people looking down on the Aquanaut, escpecially when compared to the Nautilus, I don't agree at all. To me the Aquanaut is much better looking and it feels a lot better made (the Nautilus felt super flims compared to my AP 15300). All I can say is enjoy, hope I one get to own one. JC

Very nice indeed!!! I'd like to pull the trigger on a PP too, but at the moment, I yet unable to convince my brain to spend $20-$30k on a SS watch when I can get a gold Rollie for a similar price. Heart says PP but brain says go for gold lol ...

Great thread, one that really changed up a lot for me. Great pics, too. Thanks for putting it together and for the update, too.
![]() If anyone out there likes the "look" of this watch then they'll go over the top meeting it for real. IMO it has a few things, good things, in common with a yellow Livestrong wristband, as in totally non-invasive. Just crazy-cool... |

I think there's only 3 Aquanauters here in TRF.
It's my favorite and if it came down to just owning 1 watch, the 5167a would be THE ONE for me.

![]() the Aquanaut made me realise in detail what i don't like about my other watches. Take the DSSD for example, all the writing on the dial makes it so cluttered. so it's up for sale ![]() i can't fault the Aquanaut in the slightest, it's the perfect watch! Quote:
![]() ![]() if I could own just three i'd have Aquanaut Red Sub GMT 16750
