Probably the only one, but I prefere 'smooth'!

Little more modern looking (IMHO)

I normally prefer domed, but on the two you have shown I'd go fluted. It suits the diamonds better.

Fluted. Personally I love the Thunderbird bezel the best (have a 91 tt model).

the smooth domed bezel is what I like. It really shows off the dial.
My D-D is at the RSC right now. They told me that a domed bezel was not compatible with my D-D.
I was hoping to upgrade..
I guess the Fluted is not all that bad either.

Fluted. The smooth really shows the scratches. The light dances nicely off of the fluted bezel. Classic!

Domed with the oyster, fluted with the jubilee.

I wanted an understated dress watch that did not shout "ROLEX!" so I went with this one:

I'd go with fluted as I think it fits well with the crown.

If you're sure about the dial, I would go for the domed bezel as I really don't think that the fluted bezel looks great with that diamond-set dial.

However, if I were getting a Day-Date, I would probably have a simpler dial and go for the fluted bezel. Hope this helps!

The reflection of light on the fluted one is something truly magical. If you look at it under daylight you will see it and never turn back.

Salud!

Now that's one beautiful looking DJ. I like the smooth bezel with the oyster bracelet and fluted with the jubilee. Although I've seen the fluted with the oyster and that looks pretty good as well. Not as nice the this combination but still nice.

I always prefer fluted - except this time...

I think that the fluted bezel with the diamond here is too busy, in my opinion. Because of the diamonds, plus YG and white face, the simplicity of the smooth bezel keeps the watch simpler and classier, and does not take away from the white dial with the diamonds.

Both are beautiful, but take the one with the smooth bezel.
