Dan,

I'm sorry to hear this.

Obviously he taught you things, that a lot of us needs to get a remainder of from time to time. A good friend, no doubt.

Perhaps he and his passion for Rolex influenced you, like you and your passion for Tudor influence me.

Take care!

Best regards from your "Tudor cyber friend",

A

P.S. I hope this came out as I meant. English is not my native tongue...

Dan, that is sad news......I am sure that knowing each other brought smiles to each of your faces.....I bet you learned a lot from him and that he was happy he passed something on to you.......it's a sad time right now but at least you met and knew each other.......these kind of people you always miss....it gets easier and you remember them with a smile rather than a tear eventually....sure he was a great man.....thinking of you now mate

Deepest symathies to you for your loss, Dan.

Thank you for bringing it here to share with your friends. It wouldn't have even required a Rolex connection for that.

Take care.

Sorry to hear this, Dan. A longtime co-worker of mine just passed a couple of weeks ago at 41. It was a shock to see someone so young go.

My condolences.

Sorry to hear about your loss Dan and my commiseration to his loved ones . This reminds me about my Rolex mentor that passed away a couple of months ago . I also posted a tread on the forum in homage to the man that introduced me to Rolex . He was the younger son of two of a prominent jeweler and actually the man that brought Rolex to our town . I never ever met another man that could talk so passionately about Rolex watches . It was him that took the time during a holiday stay in portugal to explain the workings and details of the TT Datejust he was wearing at the time to a 14 year old boy ... me .
