Cool releases but nothing for me.

I like that Ultra Deep with the Mariana Trench dial. My only reservation with the regular UD is the size of the dial. I find it small compared to the case size (30mm vs 45mm). I saw the UD at the AD and my first impression was "fat bezel, small dial, reminds me of the Deepsea".

The PO is alright. Rest is OK, just not for me.

I like the new seamaster Diver.

I own the ceramic coaxial in blue.

But…

There are FAR too many choices. They’ve raised the prices at a rate far, far above inflation.

Predictably, the new ones are more expensive by merit of being “anniversary”.

Maybe, just maybe these will be limited and to collectors justify some sort of price hike.

But while Omega is walk in ready and available they can’t possibly justify raising the prices at the rate they have. My 0.02.

Nice watch, but value proposition is now borderline and so be careful would be my take to the company.

We'll see but one pricing point may be that the preexisting models will have their prices increased on July 1 by 6%--I bet these new ones stay the same. That should narrow the gap.

I dig the new ultra deep, the dial is super cool, but $13k is a hard swallow (for me at least).

Tried on an Ultra deep in blue bezel, white dial today . In Key West. Available for 12K but price going to 12,700 I think he said. Have to say i really liked it. It is thicker then my Sea Dweller 43. They only had this combo. They had a black with blur but sold it already.

Overall, I’m really disappointed with this release! I was really hoping for an updated 2234.50 with matte ceramic single colour bezel, the 8906 movement, a matte dial with applied lume and top hat domed crystal to make the watch thinner, and a slimmer titanium case al la NTTD.

This whole ‘different dial flavour with a new case back’ is a bit Bremont to me and very uninspired. I don’t get the obsession for dial variants over a substantive change like an added complication — if I were forced to make a develop, I’d go with the 60th Bind anniversary over this iteration of the SMP300 diver: it’s not very aesthetically appealing at all to me!
