Agreed. It’s great for what it is, but make sure you’ve tried it on and it’s for you.

Older versions will not allow a swap from rubber to bracelet.
My personal advice has been to go for a nautilus instead (I've had both), though I still feel that way, recent price increases have made this a very different conversation.

I have my aquanaut in bracelet, because I prefer my watches in bracelet. I love it because I find it very versatile and it can be worn for many types of occasions.
Coming from Rolex, I would say Rolex watches feel more robust while the aquanaut feels more delicate. The SS bezel on the aquanaut is more prone to scratches as compared to a Rolex with ceramic bezel. Setting time on the Rolex is quicker as there is more travel for each wound of the Rolex crown. There is no hacking on the 324 Patek caliber. ![]() |

Also, if you haven't had a non-hacking watch, it means you shouldn't attempt to set the time backwards... Quote:
How old? Back with the 5065, bracelet versions automatically came with the strap as an extra. Didn't realize that wasn't the case with the 67. |

I think this is very subjective . I much prefer the date window of the 5167 than the wheel/pointer of the 5164 as I find a traditional date window much easier to read . But I do agree, aesthetically the 5164 dial flows better- so for me it’s a trade-off and I usually lean toward pragmatics when faced w that decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

date windows aside the 64 has more wrist presence so it also wears differently. I could probably deal with the date window even if they are not my favorite if the 5167 wasn't so thin. For some people thats a positive, but for a sports watch on rubber i prefer a thicker watch.
