I love both and have both. If I had to chose one it would be the CHNR because I use the reference time function for work. Timing cooking and parking meters can also be done on a GMT Master. So the Sub Date looses. Although in my case, I'd part with my gums before I parted with either.

Not fond of either watch. However, from the two choices, I would go with the Rootbeer. I prefer a SS Submariner black dial, a SS 36mm DateJust, or a 39mm white dial Oyster Perpetual. I stick with traditional, minimalist pieces.

Rootbeer hands down. Unless you dress like The Riddler the hulk is not a versatile watch as far as matching your wardrobe

I think that if you would enjoy people noticing and commenting about your watch then go green.

Personally, neither would be a daily option. Gun to my head so to speak, I am going Hulk all day. Satin finish across the bracelet and overall subtle green (in most lights) with a flare of awesomeness in right light, the Hulk is the way to go here.

I should mention that I completely dislike CHNR. it does nothing for me.

Root Beer. It's more versatile.

Both are on my grail list- I really think someone (like me!) should have both. Really not an either/or choice. Different moods and colors altogether.

YMMV

Not clear why this is... both are Oyster bracelets, and I thought the case thickness was close to the same (< 1 mm).

Rootbeer, without a doubt.

Love both watches but prefer the Root Beer. But I fly jets, so there's that!

You’ve really got to be into the colour green to want that hulk. For me it does nothing.

Now the CHNR, well I bought one so there’s where my money is.

CHNR; classy for dressing up, and sporty dressed down.

Think both are hard as one and only. But hey, if it's the only one forever, might as well get it with a splash of gold! More seriously, I think CHNR is more dynamic long run. As an owner of both, I nudge to CHNR.
