I disagree with the majority of people here.
It is too flashy. Do not wear a stand out Rolex in an office environment unless your in a management role. A flashy item is a great way to not get a raise or bonus. People are very judgemental and will think your made of cash. Do not wear it |

Most likely nobody will notice nor comment on any watch you are wearing so go for the one that appeals to you the most.

Agree, unless you're schooled on Horology or know watches, the majority of SHEEPLE won't look twice. You can thank total SHITTERS like invicta & china for this.

I never wear sports with a suit especialy not in a formal setting. Just doesnt look right for me. I have the BLRO. Its a fun sporty watch but i realy do not see how to wear this with a suit and tie. I only wear mine with T-shirts/polo's. Since you can get it at retail you should do. Keep it for the weekend and get a 3/4K reverso or something for work.
I stick to something like this give or take: Suit and Tie: <40mm on leather (Patek/ALS/JLC/ETC) Suit no Tie: Explorer/DJ/DD No Blazer/Jacket: Daytona Polo/T-shirt: SUB/BLRO/SD/ETC |

Another strange question.
My only advice is to leave the cuckoo clock at home. |

I think the BLRO is a great watch for just about any occasion. The combination of red, blue and black allow it to work with just about any outfit. The Jubilee bracelet adds a bit of dressiness as well. I have only seen it in the wild once, but with a suit and it looked great.
Cheers, Carl

Very few people outside of TRF care much for what watch you are wearing. Your watch will be covered by shirt sleeves nearly 100% of time at work so don't worry about it. Very soon and as you spend more time with client-facing, you might start to think that the BLRO is not dressy/formal enough and then get a DJ/Calatrava as an addition. Congrats and enjoy NYC!

Congrats! Absolutely get the BLRO. It isn't too dressy. It's perfect.

99.9% of people will not notice or care that you have a watch on. You’ll probably find that the only people that may notice it will be a fellow WIS, most of who will probably be seeing one for the first time in the wild.
Please get the BLRO and enjoy it in good health, both in and out of work. |

Congrats on the MBA, first and foremost.
There is no rule other than wear what you want, as long as you feel comfortable. Personally, I feel better in something more dressy when suited (which is my daily uniform). My daily-wear is a silver-faced NOMOS Orion. In the evenings and on weekends I strap on my Bluesey. It’s not a rule, and sometimes I’ll go the other way. Just enjoy! Nobody in wealth management is going to care you are wearing a $13,000 watch. Likely nobody will even notice. The ones that do might be watch guys or gals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not a problem being too flashy. The issue is that it isn't dressy enough. To my eyes the SS sports models don't look right with business suits. It will water down your look I'm afraid.

I’m in strategy consulting for over a decade now and I can tell you that no one cares - our clients the least of all. We’re not in the 1950s anymore. While we still wear a suit every day, displaying your personality through accessories isn’t frowned upon. We wear flashy socks, colorful ties, military watches, bold cufflinks, opulent briefcases, etc. in client meetings.
Lloyd Blankfein, former CEO at Goldman Sachs, was often photographed in a formal setting wearing a Swatch. |

Must suck to have to care what other people think of a watch you might wear.

Wear what you like, but yes it’s a flashey watch and one that does not particularly go with a suit. If I was wearing that kind of attire I would go with something more like a JLC/ iwc portuguese/Grand Seiko. A ss datejust perhaps. However, the BLRO is to hard to get to turn down. Save for the dress watch and get later. |

99.9% of the time these concerns are completely unwarranted.
Funny part is that most people that would think spending money on a Rolex is crazy usually have spent exponentially more on various toys and splurges. If your employer cares about your watch you’re more than likely going to want to find another employer anyway because you work for an asshole. Stainless steel Submariner or GMT goes with anything. |

If you can get Rolex sports models at retail, get a DaytonaC.
