I agree (although I only own the 58). However, I would say the 58 can be worn with a suit and plenty of people wear watches on NATO straps in work - especially in the military.

I’m probably in the minority but BB58.

OP is beautiful though.

I have Rolex and Tudor and like both. But my first choice will always be Rolex.

Given what you have now - get OP39
And it is a great watch in it’s own right.

I'd go OP39. I had a BB58 and didn't like all of the gold/guilt. Also, the OP39 (especially the black and white dials) are perfect daily drivers that can fly under the radar.

I’ve owned both. Loved the OP white to start with but got a little bored of it tbh..
And traded it in for another watch.

It would be a lovely watch for your daily use in your profession.

However I still have the BB58 & never get bored of it. As you have the other watches I wouldn’t spend the extra dollar on the OP. I’d go with the 58 .. you’ll never get bored of it and it really does look great on leather & Nato straps, whereas the Rolex (any Rolex) looks way better on bracelet.

Do you have a use for a timing bezel at work? If yes, I think the 58 is the correct choice. If no, I'd go OP.

My real answer is that no one is looking at your watch and even if they were....you earned it. So wear whatever you want.

Since you didn’t ask my opinion on that, I’d choose the OP39.

OP for me too. Rolex brand has me everytime.

I own the bb58, took it off the bracelet (not a fan of the rivits) and put it on a black vanguard strap. Now I wear it as my beater everyday watch - wash cars, cut the grass, install car parts, grocery store, dip in the lake, Friday casual day at work. I do like the bezel and also use it to cook. 70hr power reserve is nice when swapping between my gmt. Its keeps within the plus/minus 2sec csoc. Don't get me wrong, it's a great watch.

If you're looking for a watch for more professional usage, OP all the way. If more for everyday beater.....idk. I'm considering picking up a smp300 white dial Omega is selling online now

I have a sub and bb58. I LOVE the 58, but I would choose a white OP or Explorer over it.

If your goal is to own a serious watch that you never need to justify, the 58 is def the winner as people don’t know Tudor (or a much lower percentage). I’d argue a Movado would raise more eyebrows than a Tudor... if that level of stealth doesn’t matter to you, white OP all day.

The op 39 in white was a deal breaker for me due to the dial. In the light it was brilliant, out of the light it turns to a bizarre almost depressing hazy white. It annoyed me so much I got out of it. Some people adore this particularly quality however.

Disclosure, I own the BB58. Tudor BB58 is a better watch overall. Updated movement, power reserve better, etc. I almost purchased the OP39 white dial on vacation in Colombia- didn't like the bezel, too rounded and 'dressy' in my opinion. I also have the 114060 and the BB58 gets more wrist time. Both good watches but you have to try them on.

I am a BB58 daily wearer but since you have a GMT LN, I have to go OP39.
I agree with all the OP39 people so I wont reiterate. But the OP39 feels like a perfect Pharmacist's watch, a classy professional watch for a serious professional.
