When the dog bites,

1)First, clean the wound immediately with soap and water
2)Look for wounds for signs of infection
3)Get needs a tetanus shot

Not sure if this is applicable for Yachtmaster as well

I think I would leave it that is a scratch with a story. I do remember when I had my platinum yachtie that the bezel was kind of a scratch magnet which kind of drove me nuts. That is a beautiful watch though I love the blue.

The scratch would be the only thing I would see until its fixed. So I am on the fix it side.

I have 2 dogs and they always poke my watch with there wet cold noses. Its the first thing they go for when O come hole. I guess it's my reaction they are waiting for. Funny eh!

I'd cook up a big juicy steak with the dog present then eat it infront of it without sharing.

It's a good story - better than whacking it on a door frame. I'd leave it

I think you get a lawyer should sue your dog for damage to the watch and emotional trauma to you

By the way that is an absolutely beautiful watch!
Kidding aside I will leave it alone, because polishing a brand new watch does more harm than good, unless you change out the entire bezel.
FWIW not worth the expense.

The scratches look minor, it'll be gone by the first service years down the road.
Bite the bullet and live with it.

Platinum is pretty soft so you'll develop other marks on the bezel anyway. Murphy's Law says as soon as you send it in to get this fixed you'll scratch it the next day. Just leave it until it needs a service. Like others have said, it's a battle scar...with a good story!

That watch is way too new for that kind of damage. Get it fixed.

As cute as the pup is (my first dog was a beagle named "Boots"). I'd definitely not get the watch repaired and keep it as a remembrance of the pup that marked its territory. The watch will be around long after the pup is gone.

You already know the answer. If you continue to stare at the scratch and it bothers you, get it fixed. In the grand scheme of things, it would not cost that much. If you do not mind the slight damage, save it for service.

Lucky there is no marks on the lugs/crown guards....
These bezels are very expensive on the YM to replace...
Your watch is meant to be worn.
You could have just as easily done damage from something else so just leave it.

You give your dog a collar, she gives you customized rolex. Keep it. It'll be a good way to store memories.

What a Beautiful Beagle! Not many people have their dog engrave their Rolex. I believe that is a very custom addition to a great watch!

Leave it alone. In 15 years (or longer I hope) it will be a lasting memory of your sweet pup. You'll cherish the battle wound. :)

Give it awhile before you do anything.

Odds are you'll learn to live with it, because, well, stuff happens.

If continues to bother you after a few months, then you can think about having it fixed.
