To Bluesy or not to Bluesy?

That is the question.

And there is only one answer:

The two-tone submariner is probably the nicest two-tone Rolex makes. I have loved it for years. That said, I saved up and got the solid yellow gold submariner. Never regretted it. It rocks!

I have the TT Bluesy for almost 5 months now and still loving it. Since I bought it, I rarely wear my other watches. It seems the blue dial always win when I have choose which watch I am going to wear.

Bluesy is my everyday wear. It's so versatile--it looks great with everything from your sharpest suit to your gym clothes (other than purple--and I think I can live with that).

I have had my new ceramic bluesy for 4 months and love it!

Within a month, I did dress it down a bit with a blue RubberB band which compliments the blue tones of the bezel and dial perfectly and makes it a nice sporty daily watch. Have received several compliments wearing the rubberb band.

Last week I also purchased a blue leather curved end band from Everest, but unfortunately, the tone of the blue leather is a bit too dark and I don't think it looks quite right. I was looking for something a little less sporty than the blue rubber and a little less dressy than the oyster bracelet...too bad the leather color is off.

Hope this helps any of you considering different bands.

I really like mine and it looks great with dress shirts. A little too flashy for me to wear with short sleeves or casual affairs though I'm sure many people proudly do. If you like to rotate watches the bluesy is a great choice.

I’ve owned it twice and sold it twice. I love the watch but prefer the 18lb. If you buy it right, you should be just fine on the back end should you decide it’s not for you. At least I was.

You’ll buy it, you’ll love it long time. Then you’ll sell it. This is the way of the 116613LB.

I grew bored of the 116710ln twice very quickly. The bluesy is still exciting to wear a year later.

No one should get hung for liking what they like. Old adage “Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream” fits.

The LB is standout...literally.

For the black dial, that's going to be full gold for me one day.

The gold Rolex 16618LN, spectacular watch as far as I'm concerned, and will be in the collection at some point - this one is pretty much my favourite PM Rolex.

I’d say try it. Life’s to short not to. Sell it if you don’t like it.

To Bluesy or Not

The Bluesy was my first Rolex so I’m biased. I love the blue dial. It is a gorgeous timepiece. I have since added to my collection so it is not used as a daily. I picked up a M-series with a darker and richer blue dial so I sold my Z-series. A Bluesy will be apart of my collection for the foreseeable future. Cheers!

I wear mine to the office and nobody notices, no comments. Who cares it's a bog standard Rolex model.
Now this is what I call flashy!

Two things come to mind when I see the bluesy, (1) it's ugly and (2) it's Archie Luxury's current daily-driver

If you like it, buy it. Don’t listen to any of us.

Not my style, but surely a great watch.
